Set up Apollo Group IPTV on Android & Google TV

Anything running Android TV or Google TV — a built-in TV, a Chromecast, a Shield, a Xiaomi box. The player comes from Google Play, so there is nothing to side-load.

The steps

Do these in order. If a screen does not look like the one described, stop and message us rather than guessing — it is quicker.

  1. Install the player

    Open Google Play on the TV and search for TiviMate. IPTV Smarters works too and is the simpler of the two; TiviMate has the better guide.

  2. Add a playlist

    Open TiviMate, choose Add playlist, then Xtream Codes rather than the M3U option.

  3. Enter your login

    The server address, username and password from our message.

  4. Let it build the guide

    TiviMate downloads the channel list and the guide once, which takes a minute. It is instant on every open after that.

What we send you, and where it goes

One message. None of it is a password to an account on this website — we do not have those, and nobody from us will ever ask you for one.

Copy them exactly — a trailing space is the commonest reason a login is refused.

Google Play does not show TiviMate

Some TV brands ship a cut-down Play store. Install IPTV Smarters instead — the login is identical.

The remote's D-pad will not move through the guide

TiviMate's own Settings → Playlists → EPG needs a source; ours loads with the account.
